Margaret Aiona, 82, of Waimea died Oct. 30 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Munich, Germany, she was a retired telephone switchboard operator for Sheraton Outrigger hotels in Hawaii and worked for Hawaiian Fresh Egg Farm and W.M. Keck Observatory. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial services and celebration of life at 10 a.m. Aloha attire. Urn committal at noon at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Survived by sons, Chang Yang Aiona V and Michael (Julie) Wong of Waimea, Dr. Milton (Bridget) Wong of Las Vegas and Marshall (Denise) Boyer-Wong of Palm Springs, Calif.; daughter, Madeline (Alton) Arakaki of Oahu; sisters-in-law, Sarah Togashi of Keaau and Sophie Aiona of Pahoa; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Randolph “Randy” Lyle Miller, 73, of Kealakekua died Nov. 11 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Hollywood, Calif., he was a cruise ship greeter for Destination Kona Coast, owner of the former Jose’s Mexican Restaurant, courtesy van driver for Budget Rent A Car, bartender at Huggo’s Restaurant and former member of the Keauhou-Kona Yacht Club. Celebration of life 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Kailua-Kona pier. Casual attire; loose flowers welcome. Survived by daughters, Julie Roberts of Seattle and Kim Miller of California; sister, Claudia Porter of Charleston, S.C.; one granddaughter. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Marian Eileen Charlton-Oshita, 88, of Kailua-Kona died Nov 2. Born in San Diego, she was a metaphysics writer and worked as an elementary school teacher in California and Kona. Services held. Survived by husband, Kazumi Oshita; sons, Raymond Charlton of Corvallis, Ore., and Eric Charlton of Sierra Madre, Calif.; brothers, Ralph (Glenda) Rassmusen of San Jose, Calif., and Alvin (Avis) Rassmusen of Fountain Valley, Calif.; two grandchildren. Tooru “Belly” Yugawa, 91, of Hilo died Nov. 7 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hakalau, he was retired from the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. and a U.S. Army World War II veteran. Visitation 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at Hilo Coast United Church of Christ in Honomu. Memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Graveside urn committal service at noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2.
