Everyone is invited to join the Friends of the Zoo Animal Enrichment team in spreading Christmas cheer to all of the feathered and furry friends who live at the zoo on Saturday, Dec. 6.
The party starts at 9:15 a.m. at the Primadome. Bring your cameras and watch the animals open their presents at the Pana’ewa Rainforest Zoo & Gardens on the outskirts of Hilo.
“And as a special added attraction, award-winning musicians Dennis and Christy Soares will be at the zoo to serenade us with their holiday songs,” said spokeswoman Nina Bremer.
