Glad Tidings Church of Hilo will host its annual Thanksgiving luncheon Sunday at Aunty Sally’s Luau Hale in Hilo.
Doors will open at 9 a.m. This event, which begins at 10 a.m., is free and open to the public.
The festivities will begin with music of praise and worship followed by a sharing from the Word by Pastor Renee Godoy.
“A delicious multi-course meal will follow. After the lunch there will be a display of dance and music from the various teams from Glad Tidings Church. Lucky number drawings will be held for all ages during the musical presentations,” said spokesman Roddy Rodrigues. “Last year, there were over 500 meals served. So, invite a family member and tell a friend.”
