An extended furlough inmate who walked away from a Kona furlough house in July recently was returned to Hawaii Community Correctional Center.
Coburn Kaimiloa Jr. was arrested by Hawaii Police Department on Nov. 21.
Kaimiloa was serving time for auto theft, promoting a dangerous drug and drug paraphernalia. According to a Department of Public Safety statement, a charge of second-degree escape is expected, as well.
His next parole hearing is scheduled for December.
