HONOLULU (AP) — A new skateboarding park will be opening on Oahu’s North Shore.
The updated Banzai Rock Skate Park will be unveiled Wednesday.
The park will have new ramps, banks, rails and stairs designed to accommodate skaters of all skill levels. The original elements in the park designed to challenge more advanced skateboarders stayed in place.
The park also now features a 30-stall parking lot and new landscaping. It’s located on Kamehameha Highway near Pukea Road.
