PAHOA — The HI-5 redemption center at Pahoa Recycling and Transfer Station is closed until further notice, the Hawaii County Department of Environmental Management announced Tuesday.
Other nearby HI-5 certified redemption centers are located across from the Pahoa Post Office, open daily 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m., and Keaau Recycling and Transfer Station, open 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
All 10 redemption centers will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 in observance of the holidays.
