The mission of the event founded by Volcano artist Ira Ono is one of educating, promoting and perpetuating the arts to the community while stressing the importance and awareness of recycling.
Works in the annual exhibit are created from discarded materials which are made whole again by artists entering the show.
Entertainment for the opening reception was provided by the Acapellas, followed by the Recycle Yard Rounders.
