Forty hand-crafters and treat-makers are preparing for the annual Christmas Craft Faire sponsored by Hilo High School PTSA. This year’s Faire is slated for 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Hilo High cafeteria.
The event features affordable holiday gifts, free admission, half-hourly door prizes, and plenty of parking. Fundraiser proceeds go directly to student scholarships and teacher support at Hilo High School. “People say we might be the best little craft fair in town,” says fair organizer Arlene Kimata.
“This year, we welcome many new vendors, and welcome back many returning vendors, some who exhibit only at our fair. Student groups such as Key Club, the Culinary Arts class, Japan Club Friends, and Rainbow Friends will also have fundraising tables.”
