Yoshio Yanagihara, 91, of Hilo died Nov. 23 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired Hawaii Community College auto body instructor. Private services held. Survived by wife, Sachiko Yanagihara of Hilo; son, Edwin (Debbie) Yanagihara of Kauai; daughters, Alice (Audy) Kimura and Nancy (Floyd) Higa, both of Honolulu; brothers, Myron Yanagihara of Honolulu, Kazuo (Kay) Yanagihara of Hilo and Noboru Yanagihara of Hilo; sister, Dora K. Sakaru Kohashi, 101, of Hilo died Oct. 31 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo. Isidoro Unciano Oandasan, 92, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 23 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Ballesteros Cagayan, Philippines, he was a cook at the former Kona Galley Restaurant, a foreman at the Ackerman Ranch, a coffee farmer and a security guard. Born in Philadelphia, she was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a singer who performed with Ed McMahon and Dick Clark, an educator, member of the League of Women Voters and Amercian Association of University Women, and volunteer at Lyman Museum and Pearl S.
