Bayfront Highway in Hilo will be closed for night-time roadwork tonight and Wednesday night, according to a county Public Works statement.
Work is scheduled between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., weather and construction conditions permitting
Special-duty police officers will be stationed on Kamehameha Avenue and Bayfront Highway to redirect motorists to Waianuenue Avenue. The roadwork to improve the intersection at Pauahi Street and Bayfront Highway is part of the Kamehameha Avenue reconstruction project.
