Lillian De Morales, 94, of Hilo died Nov. 24 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Wai‘ki, South Kohala, she was a retired housekeeping inspectress for Naniloa Hotel in Hilo and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Private services held. Survived by daughter, Carol (Leslie) Kanaka‘ole of Hilo; brother, Joseph De Morales of Hilo; daughter-in-law, Paula De Morales of Hilo; sisterS, Irene Pacheco and Betsy Lindinha of Hilo and Eleanor Ako of Honolulu; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Frances Kamela Deniz, 84, of Honaunau died Dec. 5 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, she was a homemaker, worked as a sorter and candy maker for Kamigaki Macadamia Nut Factory and was a member of Kahikolu Congregational Church. Faith M. “Nellie” Rocha, 77, of Hilo died Dec. 5 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Kohala, she was a retired registered nurse (health aide) at Hilo High School, and a member of the Kamana Senior Center, Zumba and Chorus and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.
