Simeona Aina, 69, of Naalehu died Dec. 2 at Ka‘u Hospital. Born in American Samoa, he was a retired Roberts Hawaii bus driver. Visitation and wake vigil 6 p.m. Friday at Naalehu Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation continues 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at the church. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Naalehu County Cemetery. Theresa Punsalan Miprano, 83, of Keaau, formerly of Honolulu, died Dec. 2 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Hilo, she was a retired pantry worker for the former Hilo Lagoon Hotel. Confessor “Confe” Riveira, 90, of Captain Cook died Nov. 30 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Wailuku, Maui, he was a retired coffee and macadamia nut farmer, former member of Kohala Puerto Rican Club and U.S. Army and Merchant Marines World War II veteran.
