Thomas Kamaki Lindsey Jr., 82, of Kalaoa died Jan. 16 at his residence. Born in Puuanahulu, he was a ranch hand at the Huehue, Puuwaawaa and Parker ranches, a groundskeeper at Makalei Golf Course, a maintenance man at Kukio Resort, and a member of the Lindsey Ohana. Friends may call at 9 a.m. March 14 at the Puuanahulu Community Center in Puuanahulu for a 10 a.m. memorial service. Casual attire. Flowers welcome. Survived by sons, Michael (Helen) Lindsey of Keauhou Mauka, Conrad (Naylene) Haleamau of Kalaoa; daughters, Anna (Dennis) Villanueva of Kealakekua and Alice (Bobby) Gaddis of Ohio; sisters, Helen Roman of Hilo and Ernestine Jimenez of Honolulu; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Olivia Martin, 94, of Mountain View died Feb. 15. Born in Mountain View, she retired as a homemaker. Services to be at St. Joseph Catholic Church (43 Kapiolani St., Hilo) on Wednesday. Visitation at 9 a.m.; Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Homelani Memorial Park (388 Ponahawai St., Hilo). Alejo “Long” Babauta Meno, 76, of Pahoehoe died Feb. 23 at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas. Born in Talafofo, Guam, he was a retired sergeant first class with the U.S. Army. He also retired as sales manager for the hardware department at Trojan Lumber Company. Friends may call at 8 a.m. March 14 at Lanakila Congregational Church in Kainaliu for a 10 a.m. funeral service.
