Moses “Moke” Kauwilaokalani Kaiawe, 75, of Honaunau died March 6 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kahaluu, he was a heavy equipment operator for Koa Construction Company, J.M. Tanaka Construction Co., Keauhou Kona Resort Co. and Keauhou Kona Construction Corp., a coffee picker, trustee of Pukaana Congregational Church and member of the Kaiawe Ohana. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Makolea (the former Kona Lagoon property). Memorial service at 11 a.m. Parking entrance is via the security guard station at the former Keauhou Beach Hotel. Casual attire; no alcoholic beverages on premises. Funeral service for the late Arthur “Ata” Gonsalves, previously scheduled for Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi, is postponed to a later date to be announced. Other information is in an obituary published Feb. 26. The Gonsalves family regrets the inconvenience.
