The following classes will be hosted by the American Red Cross Hawaii State Chapter-East Hawaii, located at 55 Ululani St. in Hilo:

• 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. March 29, “Adult &Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.” Get trained to recognize and care for victims of illness and sudden injuries and life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants and learn how to use an AED. Cost is $110.

• 8:30 a.m.-1:45 p.m. March 29, “Adult First Aid/CPR/AED.” Get trained to recognize and care for victims of illness and sudden injuries and learn how to administer CPR and use an AED for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies on adults. Cost is $90.

To register, call 1-800-733-2767 or visit www.redcross.org/take-a-class. Register for the date of classroom session for which you are available. After registering, you will receive an emailed attachment with more information about the class.

Successful completion of the course provides a certificate. All Red Cross first aid/CPR/AED certifications are valid for two years.
