Josh Pigg (0-2), the second of five pitchers, allowed two runs, one earned, as the Sooners (15-8) went ahead in the seventh.

Softball

Tayana Mata walked with the bases loaded in the eighth inning, and the Wahine beat Columbia 4-3 for their first win at the Rainbow Wahine Classic.

Brittany Hitchcock (8-8) went the distance for UH (18-13)

Water polo

Chloe Barr scored with 49 seconds left, and UH beat Princeton 7-6 at the Aztec Invitational in San Diego.

Caity Lopes da Silva and Barr each scored twice for the No. 8 Wahine (10-5).
