HONOLULU (AP) — Honolulu authorities released the name of an 87-year-old woman who died after her car sideswiped another vehicle in Kaneohe.
Mary Wuscher of Kaneohe died Sunday at Castle Medical Center, where she was taken in critical condition.
Police say Wuscher was slumped over her steering wheel and appeared to be unconscious when she struck a vehicle stopped at a traffic signal on Kamehameha Highway. The driver of that vehicle was not hurt in the incident, which occurred about 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Authorities say an autopsy will be performed.
