Hazel Tokiye Arii, 83, of Honolulu, formerly of Hawaiian Paradise Park, died Feb. 5 at Hale Nani Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Honolulu. Survived by sons, Darrell Arii of Honolulu, Glenn Arii of Montana and Grant Arii of Colorado; daughters, Arlene Dorser of Paradise Park, Debra Miklinevich of Honolulu and Laureen Arii of Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Thomas Yoshioka. Private service held.

Valentine “Val” Kamelamela, 61, of Hilo died Tuesday, March 10, at home. Born in Hilo, he worked at the former Hilo Lanes (Bowling Alley) and was a member of the Hilo Jaycees Roosters Club. Celebration of life to be held. Survived by sons, Wayne A. Naha-Kamelamela and Wayland A. (Nikole) Naha-Kamelamela of Hilo; daughter, Waydelynne L.P.A. Naha of Hilo; four grandchildren; brothers, Seth (Hauoli) Freeman and Matthew Kamelamela of Hilo; sisters, Veronica “Maile” (Jimmy) Magno and Margaret “Lei” Urabe of Hilo; four grandchildren; brother in-law, Norman W. “Bradda” Naha of Hawaiian Paradise Park; sisters in-law, Normiana “Sweetie” (Eric) Randall of Pasadena, Maryland, and Georgiana “Bones” (Jerry Miyamoto) Pacheco of Mountain View; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Lisbeth Amanda Lundstrom, 94, of Kailua-Kona died Feb. 20 at her residence. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, she was a retired teacher. Private services held. Minoru “Mino” Nakasato, 88, of Kapaau died Feb. 11 at the North Hawaii Community Hospital in Waimea. Born in Kohala, he was an Army veteran, a diesel mechanic for the former Kohala Sugar Company, and a retired macadamia nut Farmer. He was a member of the Kohala Senior Citizen Club, Kohala Okinawa Kenjin Kai, and Hawi Jodo Mission. Visitation on Saturday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo from 10-11 a.m.; Memorial service at 11 a.m. Private committal service to be held. Casual attire. No flowers. In lieu of koden, donations may be made to the Hawi Jodo Mission. Selvino Tolentino, 86, of Keaau died Saturday, March 14, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Cebu, Philippines, he a was a construction worker and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.
