Big Island customized car, truck and motorcycle fans put their pedals and clutches to the metal for charity March 14.
808_FUEL, Paradise Automotive Kolors and OSMD Hawaii hosted a noncompetitive charity car show at Paradise Automotive Kolors to benefit Shriners Hospital for Children. The event raised $2,025, with all proceeds going to Shriners Hospital.
Cars began rolling in at 7 a.m. under overcast skies. There were 70 cars, motorcycles and trucks that came out to the show and more than 300 people attended throughout the afternoon. Ten children who are patients of Shriners Hospital came to the show and were presented gifts from the car show hosts.
Snack Shack Attack, www.havocunlimited.com and www.hatoa.com also attended the show with their merchandise and donated a portion of their sales to Shriners, as well.
