HONOLULU (AP) — The Coast Guard is looking to the public for help in locating the owner of a kayak seen drifting in waters off Molokai.
Watchstanders in Honolulu were notified about the partially submerged 12-foot blue kayak. The kayak was seen adrift Sunday about 12 miles southwest of Molokai’s Laau Point.
The Coast Guard says there have been no distress reports or missing person reports in the area.
The Coast Guard says it conducted a three-hour sea and air search that covered about 170 square miles.
