James “Jimi” Contreras Gonzales, 65, of Ocean View, died March 28. Born in Los Angeles, he was a metal fabricator and played guitar. Private services, Survived by wife, Evelyn Gonzales of Ocean View; son, James Mora of Honolulu; brother, Marco Guzman of Los Angeles; sisters, Irene (Raymond) Rodrigues of Moreno Valley, Calif., Lydia Gonzales, Blanche Guzman and Jackie Guzman of Los Angeles; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
