Born in Los Angeles, he was a retired vice president for Hunt Foods, an engineer, worked for Proctor and Gamble, and was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. No services. Survived by daughters, Heloise (Chris) Lochman of Kailua-Kona, June (James Dean) Howard of Ann Arbor, Mich., Helen (Guy) Neithardt of Leysin, Switzerland and Louise (Martin Olson) Howard of Oakland, Calif.; five grandchildren.
