An opihi picker reported missing Monday afternoon was later found dead in waters fronting Hale Kahakai Apartments in Keaukaha.
According to a written Fire Department statement, the man, in his 50s, was last seen at about 1:45 p.m.
The victim was not identified. Police are investigating the death as a public accident.
