The Hawaii Island Adult Care Center will host a presentation from 9 a.m.-noon May 16 about the importance of discussing how you would want to be cared for if you became very sick or were at the end of your life.
Dr. Rae Seitz, Hawaii Medical Service Association senior programs medical director, will show participants materials and tools, including informational videos and documents, that can help you and your loved ones better understand your choices and how to make those choices known to your health care providers.
The presentation is part of Hawaii Island Adult Care’s Caregiver Respite Morning Program.
Participants will have the opportunity to network with other caregivers, enjoy a foot, shoulder and back massage, and healthy snacks.
Free adult care will be available for your loved one while you are here.
