Kilauea Military Camp in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park invites everyone to “Honor the Fallen” from 3-4 p.m. in a special Memorial Day ceremony on the KMC front lawn.
Kilauea Military Camp in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park invites everyone to “Honor the Fallen” from 3-4 p.m. in a special Memorial Day ceremony on the KMC front lawn.
Rod Sueoka, Office of Veterans Service in Hilo, will be the keynote speaker, and Roxana Ortiz, U.S. Marine Reserve and KMC front desk clerk, will be the guest speaker.
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Koa Room, inside the lobby.
The menu of a special Memorial Day buffet after the ceremony includes kalua pork sandwiches, local-style fried chicken and chili con carne. Food and beverages will be served until 7 p.m.
