On hand during her first meeting was Lani Weingert, Emmons’ sponsor, and club president Doug Adams. The Rotary Club of South Hilo, which received its charter in 1956, is an organization made up of local business, professional and civic leaders who meet regularly to form great friendships and do good works in the community.
