Aloha Performing Arts Company is seeking an independent contractor to serve as adult adviser to the Aloha Teen Theatre.
This group of 13- to 18-year-olds meets weekly and works on various projects including performance and educational opportunities, fundraising, and a yearly off-island trip.
The adviser needs to inspire, motivate and guide the members, serve as a sounding board and consultant to them, and be present at all ATT meetings and events.
The adviser also will need to keep accurate contact information for all members and be in communication with the parents of the teens, keeping them apprised of the group’s activities. Additional duties include overseeing all ATT officers as well as the group’s budget.
Applicants will be subject to a background check. The new adviser is scheduled to begin working Aug. 1, and the deadline for applying is June 30.
Aloha Performing Arts Company’s mission is to enrich the lives of Hawaii residents and visitors by presenting quality theater and providing theater education. The Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu is the home of Aloha Performing Arts Company.
