LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — The International Quilt Study Center and Museum recently opened its newly expanded galleries.
The expanded galleries include two new exhibitions: “Ambiguity and Enigma: Recent Quilts by Michael James” and “Getting to Know You,” a 29-piece exhibition curators say represents the breadth of the center’s 4,500-piece collection.
The $7 million 13,200-square-foot expansion was funded by the Robert and Ardis James Foundation and includes a new digital gallery and storage space for the museum’s international quilts and patchwork collection.
