Castle Resorts & Hotels has added Kanaloa at Kona to its growing resort portfolio.
Effective July 1, the full-service hotel and resort management company replaces Outrigger Hotels and Resort as manager of the Big Island resort.

Moody radio 91.9 FM off air
Listeners to Moody Radio programming on 91.9 FM in Hilo are hearing the “sounds of silence” as the station begins preparations for rebuilding the station this summer.
Moody Radio’s current satellite feed in Hawaii ended May 31. An alternative satellite feed is being planned, as well as a new antenna system designed to improve reception inside homes and businesses throughout the Hilo area. The target date for completing the Moody Radio 91.9 FM rebuild project is late summer 2015.

Dinell takes helm at Hawaii Coffee Co.
Longtime hospitality industry veteran Daniel Dinell was named president of Hawaii Coffee Co., Hawaii’s largest coffee roaster. He replaces Jim Wayman, who retired earlier this year.
Dinell has more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he served as vice president of regional marketing and development at Hilton Grand Vacations, where he oversaw Oahu and Korea sales and marketing operations, customer relationship management and strategic partnerships.
Based in Kalihi, Oahu, Hawaii Coffee Co.’s primary brands are Lion Coffee, Royal Kona Coffee, Royal Hawaiian Coffee and the Hawaiian Islands Tea brand.
