Born in Kelakekua, he was a registrar and teacher at Konawaena High School, roof truss fabricator at HPM, U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran awarded the Bronze Star, and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Wednesday (July 1) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Kona Stake Center in Kailua-Kona. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire; flowers welcome.
