Wailoa Center announces the second biennial “Collaborations” exhibit from Aug. 7-27. There will be an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 7.
The idea for the exhibit came from the desire to challenge and inspire artists to pursue new directions they normally might not explore.
Entries will be accepted 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 1 at Wailoa Center. To receive information and entry forms, contact hiartalliance@gmail.com.
Artwork in all mediums will be accepted. Only artwork created in the past two years by at least two artists in collaboration and has not been shown in a previous exhibit will be accepted.
Artwork must be framed and ready to hang or easily installed. Gallery wrapped canvases (no exposed staples) will be accepted. Digital art and photographs are acceptable. Entries will be rejected if the artwork does not meet these criteria or is deemed inappropriate for public view.
A People’s Choice Awards will be presented at the end of the exhibit.
