Florence Kalei Pine Nakanelua, 90, of Honokaa died June 9 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. Born in Kukuihaele, she was retired from Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, had worked for Waipio Poi Factory and Brantley Center and was a member of Hale Hauoli Senior Center in Honokaa, Honokaa Senior Club, Honokaa ILWU, and several hula halau.
