The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaii at Hilo once again is hosting Frances Kai-Hwa Wang for her unique and popular writing workshops in July.
Classes will be in UH-Hilo’s UCB Room 113. Cost for each is $50.
“Dare to Dream: Write your Way through Reinvention” guides participants through simple but powerful methods to tackle big changes or challenges in their lives. This course is part journaling, part business plan with many short writing exercises. The class is scheduled for 5-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays from July 7-28.
Kai-Hwa Wang’s most popular class, “Jumpstart Your Memoir,” will help participants get started with short writing exercises, tricks and tips to overcome barriers to writing. Participants will leave the class with beginning drafts of several chapters. Classes are set for 5-7:30 p.m. Thursdays from July 9-30.
