A 37-year-old North Kohala man who was barricaded in his home Monday night and Tuesday following a domestic incident has been charged with 22 offenses, including attempted murder.

A 37-year-old North Kohala man who was barricaded in his home Monday night and Tuesday following a domestic incident has been charged with 22 offenses, including attempted murder.

At 1:05 p.m. today, Macdon D. Thromman of Kapaau was charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder, one count of attempted second-degree murder, nine counts of first-degree terroristic threatening, one count of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, two firearms offenses and one count each of felony abuse of a family member, kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a minor and reckless endangering.

Thromman’s bail was set at $390,200. He’s being held at the Kona police cellblock pending his initial court appearance in Kona District Court scheduled for Friday morning.
