A 61-year-old California man died Saturday after driving into a cement wall in Hilo.
Police said the man might have suffered a medical condition that caused him to drive off Kanoelehua Avenue between Kahaopea and Kawailani streets.
The one-vehicle wreck was reported at 9:41 p.m. The man was pronounced dead at 10:16 p.m. at Hilo Medical Center.
Police are withholding his name pending notification of family.
