HONOLULU (AP) — Those looking for a hike Monday morning will have to trek somewhere other than the popular Manoa Falls trail as the Department of Land and Natural Resources is closing the trail for repairs.
The trail will be closed from sunrise until noon Monday and Tuesday so workers can remove a hazardous tree within the forest. Hikers will be allowed afternoon.
The Manoa Falls trail gate will be closed with a “trail closed” sign during work hours. DLNR officers will be on site to help with safety precautions.
