Manabu “Mana” Uyeda, 90, of Naalehu died July 5 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired electrician for the former Ka‘u Sugar Co. and a U.S. Army World War II veteran with the 442nd Infantry Regiment. Services held.
