A man was arrested after allegedly chasing a woman through the Kona Macy’s store with a gun Wednesday morning.

A man was arrested after allegedly chasing a woman through the Kona Macy’s store with a gun Wednesday morning.

The suspect, Andrew Green, 30, of Waikoloa allegedly began pursuing the 32-year-old woman at about 10:47 a.m. Wednesday, said Chris Loos, media relations specialist for the Hawaii Police Department, in an email.

Officers were dispatched to the scene, where they arrested Green and recovered a BB gun, she said.

Within 15 minutes, shoppers were continuing their normal business. One man left the store carrying four large bags as the suspect was in police custody.

Green was moved to Kamakaeha Avenue before he was loaded into one of the four police cars parked on the street.

Green was booked on a charge of terroristic threatening, Loos said.

No further information was available by press time, according to Loos.
