Army officials invite the public to provide input on hunting at Pohakuloa Training Area through a brief online survey.
The survey is geared toward the hunting community and asks questions regarding use of PTA. The survey also seeks feedback about proposed initiatives to update the PTA hunting program, such as an online hunter registration system.
“We’re looking at different initiatives to modernize the program, and we want the hunting community to be a part of this effort,” John Polhemus, PTA game manager, said in a written statement.
The survey is part of current efforts to revise the PTA hunting program’s administrative rules and access policy, according to Polhemus.
The survey can be found online at http://ptahuntingsurvey.com/ through Aug. 21. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
