Andres Cubangbang Acob, 64, of Keaau died July 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Brgy. No. 34 Cabaruan Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a papaya farmer and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Thursday (July 30) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Nancy “Nana” Paiva Baptiste, 88, of Honokaa died July 5 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Ahualoa, she was a retired candy helper for the former Honokaa Macadamia Nut Factory and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Honokaa Senior Citizens.
