HONOLULU (AP) — Hundreds of first-graders will be going to school with a brand new backpack full of school supplies after Servco Pacific employees donated them.
Servco employees have been collecting backpacks and filling them with crayons, markers, binders, pencil boxes, glue, notebooks and more. The bags will then be delivered to five elementary schools. The schools that will get them are Kuhio, Wahiawa, Kaimiloa, Fern and Keolu.
This is the seventh annual Servo-employee school-supply drive. Different schools receive backpacks each year.
