Josephine Lowe Beyer, 94, of Kailua-Kona died July 26. Born in Detroit, she was a homemaker. Service held. Survived by daughter, D. Lydia Susan McCoy, 68, of Waimea died June 2. Born in Santa Monica, Calif., she worked at The Downtown Copy Service, Honolulu Academy of Arts and Reyn’s Men’s Wear, and was a member and dedicated volunteer at the St. James Thrift Shop in Waimea. Lei Adachi Tsuji, 89, of Hilo died July 17 at home. Born in Kealakekua, she was a retired Department of Water Supply secretary, member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin and Hawaii County R.S.V.P., and former volunteer for Hilo Medical Center and other organizations. No services. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by daughter, Cheryl Nacis of Hilo; brothers, Kenneth Adachi of Kaneohe, Oahu, Jiro (Nancy) Adachi and Shunji (Jane) Adachi of Honolulu; sisters, Doris Sugihara of Hilo, Suga Suzuki and Chizu Nakashima of Kona; one granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
