Free wireless workshops offered in Hilo, Kailua-Kona

Verizon is offering free wireless workshops this month at its stores in Hilo and Kailua-Kona to help keep people on track and in touch throughout the busy start of another school year.

Whether it’s for taking selfies, making reminders or checking your schedule, make sure you know the ins and outs of your mobile device.

The workshops are:

• “Apple iPhone: Getting Started.” Attend this workshop and learn about the great features of your iPhone.

• “Android: Getting Started.” Attend this workshop and learn the basics of your new Android device.

The Hilo store is located at 315 E Makaala St., Suite 111, at the Waiakea Center, phone 935-6931.

The Kailua-Kona store is at 75-5595 Palani Road, Suite B-8, phone 326-9540.
