At about 5 p.m. Tuesday, Big Island police located 26-year-old Britney Pieta of Chicago in a brush area in Hawaiian Acres.
Pieta went hiking Saturday from her uncle’s Hawaiian Acres home and failed to return.
She was transported to Hilo Medical Center for medical treatment after being located.
