Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce will present the First Hawaiian Bank 41st annual Hawaii County Business Outlook Forum on Sept. 17 at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel Moku‘ola Room.

Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce will present the First Hawaiian Bank 41st annual Hawaii County Business Outlook Forum on Sept. 17 at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel Moku‘ola Room.

Check-in begins at 11 a.m. and the chamber’s general membership meeting and outlook presentation starts at 11:30.

Dr. Jack P. Suyderhoud, professor of business economics, Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, will provide the “Big Island Economic Forecast for 2016.” Dr. Ken Miller, chief investment strategist and director of investment services at First Hawaiian Bank will address the “U.S. and Global Economic Forecast and Market Analysis.”

The public is encouraged to attend to hear about the upcoming changes in the economic climate on the Big Island. Cost is $30 for HICC members, $35 for nonmembers, and includes a buffet luncheon before the presentations. Pre-registration is required by Sept. 10. Each attendee will receive a copy of First Hawaiian Bank’s Economic Forecast Report — Hawaii Island Edition.
