Hilo District Judge Michael Udovic ordered 41-year-old Ben Lucas Domingo to appear at 2 p.m. today for a preliminary hearing.

Domingo is charged with kidnapping, violating a protective order, four counts of terroristic threatening and two counts of prohibited possession for the Friday evening incident, which prompted deployment of police negotiators and the SWAT unit.

The judge maintained Domingo’s bail at $117,000, and he remains in custody at Hawaii Community Correctional Center.
