An extended furlough inmate serving time for strongarm robbery failed to show up Friday afternoon for his scheduled check in at Hale Nani Reintegration Center in Hilo.
State sheriffs and police were notified that Joshua Lopes-Keli did not report as scheduled.
Lopes-Keli is expected to be charged with escape. He was to have a parole hearing next month.
He is 6-foot-5 and weighs about 280 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees Lopes-Keli is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311.
