A century at Kahilu Hall

Pete Gorrell, above, talks to visitors about making saddles during Paniolo Day, a 100th anniversary celebration of Kahilu Hall at Parker School in Waimea. Kahilu Hall, left, was built in 1915 and has served the community of Waimea as a town library, rest and relaxation areas for Parker Ranch staff, USO for soldiers during WWII, dance hall and gathering place for meetings and events.
