Kamehameha is hosting its fourth semi-annual youth cheer camp from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 and Nov. 22.
The camp is open to boys and girls between kindergarten and the fifth grade.
Registration is $40 for new participants and $35 for returnees, and the fee is due by Oct. 28.
According to a release, participants will receive personalized instruction on stunting, team-building, cheers, jumps, dance and tumbling.

Wildcat Golf Challenge
The Club at Hokulia will host the Wildcat Golf Challenge on Nov. 16.
The two best-ball-of-four format with a shotgun start costs $250 per golfer to enter. Entry fee includes a cart.
The event will benefit the interscholastic athletics program at Konawaena High School. Space is limited and advance reservations can be made by calling the athletic office at Konawaena at 323-4500.
Waiakea Pirates

The Waiakea Pirates youth baseball organization is registering T-ball players (ages 5 and 6) and coach-pitch players (7-8).
Practice will start in late November.

Kohala seeking four coaches
Kohala High is currently seeking head coaches for boys soccer, girls soccer, boys baseball and girls softball.
The deadline to apply is Friday. Interested applicants may pick up and submit a coaching application at the school’s main office.

Hole-in-one
Eric Yabuta aced the par-3 177-yard 16th hole on Tuesday at Hilo Municipal Golf Course.
Yabuta used a 6-iron for his sixth hole-in-one. Witnesses were Walter Watanabe, Galvin Fujii, Sheldon Furutani and Steve Miura.
