The Big Island Association of Nurserymen plant show and sale continues from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. today at the Afook-Chinen Auditorium.

All proceeds go toward funding the BIAN Excellence Scholarship Endowment. The show provides a venue for plant enthusiasts to learn about gardening in Hawaii and the latest information about pests and remedies with plant clinics and experts in the field.

Admission is free. Fifteen growers will be on hand to provide advice and new plants for your garden. Expect to see many landscape plants, including anthurium, bamboo, citrus, daylilies, exotic tropical fruit trees, gingers, heliconias, herbs, orchids, tis and many more.

There will be clinics and staff from county, state and federal agencies available to answer questions and provide information about services and farm loans.

Cold and hot beverages will be available for purchase in the concession area.
